🇷🇺 Russian Classes have officially launched! 🇿🇦

The project, facilitated by Mrs Michaels and Mrs Fredericks, has been put into motion—we kicked off on 29 July! 🎉

A massive thank you to our special guests, Dasha Gorbunova (Teacher and Methodologist ) and Katja (Teacher) from Saint Petersburg State University, for giving our learners their first taste of the Russian Alphabet! 🅰️🔠

It was incredible to see our learners saying their first Russian words. I even tried reading it myself—what an awe-inspiring experience! 🤯

Even though the alphabet looks different, they are already spotting letters similar to English. Our learners are well on their way to mastering the language and will receive certificates upon completion.

This is a wonderful collaboration between South Africa and Russia, and we can't wait for more initiatives like this in the future!
