Today, during the term opening assembly we celebrated our Saturday school top learners for the first half of the year.
Mat 5:13-16
Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Hi All ,

We need volunteers.

We are looking for people who would like to tutor mathematics to learners in Grade 8 and 9. The curriculum and notes as well practice problems and solutions have already been set. As we are aiming to reinforce their foundations in basic mathematics our minimum requirements are simply:

One must have completed High School mathematics (Grade 12) and you must be available to tutor in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs on Saturday mornings from 0930-1200... that's it!

We have been running the program since 2013, the school appreciates our effort and the people who have volunteered in the past have found it to be a satisfying experience.
