Things got wonderfully recycled this week ✨♻️

Our Little Stars used recycled materials… to paint recycling.

Armed with paint, creativity and some very enthusiastic little hands, the children explored how everyday items can be transformed into something new and beautiful.

We love activities like these because they spark imagination while introducing little ones to caring for our world (even if there was slightly more paint than planned 🤭)

Yesterday our Fireflies opened their very own skateboard design studio ✨🛹

Using cardboard for the boards and squish lids for wheels, the children custom designed their own skateboards, and let’s just say… creativity was definitely in the driver’s seat 💛

Future skateboard designers? We think so.

Start your engines… Things With Wheels Week has arrived.🚗

Today our Sunrays rolled into the week by making their very own cars out of… you guessed it… paper plates.

There was serious design work happening, lots of creative decisions and some VERY proud little faces by the end of it.

Honestly, we’re not sure what’s cuter, the cars or how proudly they’re showing them off.

Beep beep… next stop: more wheel-y fun this week 🚗💨

We asked for ladybugs… and the creativity did NOT disappoint. 🐞

Yesterday our Little Stars created their own little ladybug masterpieces and proudly showed them off one by one.

Were they scientifically accurate? Debatable.
Were they adorable? Absolutely.

There is honestly nothing sweeter than watching little faces light up when they’re proud of something they made. 💛

We’ve officially entered Creepy Crawlies Week and our Sunrays kicked things off with the CUTEST little ladybugs. 🐞

Tiny fingers got busy painting, sticking and creating their very own spotted friends.

And today’s fun fact that surprised a few of us… Ladybugs are actually BEETLES! (Who knew?! 🤯)

We’re excited to see what other creepy crawlies we discover this week.
