It’s all about asking the right questions ✨

A dear friend invited me to a Muslim Gathering which was to be over 1000 people strong. Even though I could not make it, I was (and still am) so touched by his invite. Touched that he thought of me.

When we ask a question, the Universe always answers... So when i ask, why are we divided? Why are the people in so much pain? I will get answers to these questions.

But when I CHANGE the questions, I get a different answer...
How can we be United? Where do we get along? We get answers to these... These questions are called bridges, as they bridge people together

Why such a deep note attached to a Justin Timberlake song then? Because this song is a bridge. A bridge for a group of people to be united. People from Morocco, to Sydney, Turkey, Miami and me (sitting here in Cape Town) and I am certain for millions of people more...

Song and dance unites us.... what else can we be focusing on that unites us? What makes us happy? Reminds us that we all on this planet together? Where can I build a bridge? Where can I Be the Change?

Beloved Beings, I have been following Dr Jacqueline Hobbs for the past 8 months and she holds purification spaces. "Piglet?" said Pooh.

"Yes?" said Piglet.

"I'm scared," said Pooh.

For a moment, there was silence.

"Would you like to talk about it?" asked Piglet, when Pooh didn't appear to be saying anything further.

"I'm just so scared," blurted out Pooh.

"So anxious. Because I don't feel like things are getting any better. If anything, I feel like they might be getting worse. People are angry, because they're so scared, and they're turning on one another, and there seems to be no clear plan out of here, and I worry about my friends and the people I love, and I wish SO much that I could give them all a hug, and oh, Piglet! I am so scared, and I cannot tell you how much I wish it wasn't so."

Piglet was thoughtful, as he looked out at the blue of the skies, peeping between the branches of the trees in the Hundred Acre Wood, and listened to his friend.

"I'm here," he said, simply. "I hear you, Pooh. And I'm here."

For a moment, Pooh was perplexed.

"But... aren't you going to tell me not to be so silly? That I should stop getting myself into a state and pull myself together? That it's hard for everyone right now?"

"No," said Piglet, quite decisively. "No, I am very much not going to do any of those things."

"But-" said Pooh.

"I can't change the world right now," continued Piglet. "And I am not going to patronise you with platitudes about how everything will be okay, because I don't know that.

"What I can do, though, Pooh, is that I can make sure that you know that I am here. And that I will always be here, to listen; and to support you; and for you to know that you are heard.

"I can't make those Anxious Feelings go away, not really.

"But I can promise you that, all the time I have breath left in my body...you won't ever need to feel those Anxious Feelings alone."

And it was a strange thing, because even as Piglet said that, Pooh could feel some of those Anxious Feelings start to loosen their grip on him; could feel one or two of them start to slither away into the forest, cowed by his friend, who sat there stolidly next to him.

Pooh thought he had never been more grateful to have Piglet in his life.

Our emotional world is communicating with us... Make time to listen to your inner guidance system of what is truly going on inside. Those yucky parts that most try to avoid or shut out, those parts of you are the parts that are needing the most love. Just as you would embrace, make time and offer words of comfort to a friend who is hurting... So use the same approach with the parts of you who is hurting. This is how we heal our wounds... but tending to them not punishing or judging them for being there. This is the ultimate self care, by being with yourself in all of who you are. This is unconditional love, loving and accepting all of who you are

When you find yourself triggered. When your emotional world is on fire and you are hooked into shame, blame, and rage. When you notice you are practicing self-aggression, spiraling into addictive behavior, or complaining about your life, blaming others, and erupting with resentment… slow down. The messengers have arrived.

Do not dissociate and split from them, meditate them away, or transform them into a higher vibration. The invitation is one of intimacy, a curious journey toward the feelings, and opening into the vision that is longing to emerge from their center. Return into the aliveness of your body and listen. For your need yourself now more than ever.

Something is attempting to break through, out of the murky darkness and into conscious awareness. Some unmet emotion, some abandoned aspect of yourself, some underlying state of vulnerability that was not able to return safely at an earlier time.

What is it? What is knocking on the door of your heart and longing for reorganization? What lost part of you is shape-shifting out of the unseen and up from of the muddy soil of your body, so that it may share its wisdom in a world that has forgotten? Is there something you’ve been neglecting about what is most important to you? Some discrepancy between the life you know is possible and the one you’ve been living?

In the past, it was intelligent to split off from overwhelming experience that you could not metabolize at the time. But these pieces are looking for you. They come as emissaries of revelation and carriers of light in the darkness. As ambassadors of the somatic world, they serve as gatekeepers of portals into aliveness, connection, and wholeness. Though it may appear otherwise, they do not come to overwhelm you, or to engulf, or to take you down. But to show you life. To reveal a key to a sacred door.

Whether you choose to provide a home for these ones – or you do not – they will never relinquish their search, and will continue to appear as your friends, your children, your emotions, your lovers, and your life circumstances. Look carefully and you will see them. They will even come in disguise as the mountains, the ocean, the blue, and the purple, to remind you of something astonishing about who you are, that you may have forgotten along the way.

Please consider the possibility, though, that the “forgetting” is equally as sacred as the “remembering” and that love will use both of these energies to find you and to awaken you to what you are. Each are special arrows in the quiver of the beloved, who will never, ever give up and will look for you forever.
