70 years ago, 20,000 women delivered 100,000 signatures to Pretoria. When the Prime Minister refused to face them, they stood in total silence for 30 minutes. History tells us they were as immovable as rock, their words remind us that their ultimate strength came from a place of deep heart, vulnerability and humanity.

Spot the Interns👀 It’s been half way into the year and the interns of 2026 have sailed through half of the storm. They burnt in the sun, they beat the drums, they were spotted in the mirror, stood on boxes and infront of class, one graduated, another left. In the midst of all that, they had a family behind them. 🫂🫶

Fifty years ago, the Youth of 1976 stood up to change the course of South African history. Today, in 2026, the battlefield has shifted, but the weight is still heavy. From the pressure to succeed to the struggle of defining who we are in a rapidly changing world, being a young South African right now is a lot.
We’re using the language of our daily brews to unpack our daily truths. We want to know: What is your current lived experience as it pertains to your identity, pressure, and purpose?
