📚 Give Your Child the Gift of Reading for Life! 📚
Research shows that owning books from a young age can transform a child’s future. When children have their own books, it sparks a love of reading, encourages sharing stories at home, and strengthens early development.
Yet, in South Africa, 80% of children can’t read for meaning by Grade 4 — a crisis that can affect their entire learning journey. Without early literacy skills, children are far more likely to fall behind at school.
💡 If your child is struggling with reading, now is the time to act.
The Reading for Readiness Program is designed to help children in the foundation phase overcome reading challenges and build strong literacy skills.

One of the reasons for low literacy rates amongst children is..........
Home Environment: The home environment plays a crucial role in helping children develop reading skills.
A 2023 National Reading Survey found that nearly 3 in 5 homes do not have a single fiction or nonfiction book. A lack of books and a culture of reading at home can have a direct impact on a child's readiness for school.
If your child has reading challenges, don't let him/her become a lack of reading for meaning statistic. Enrol your child in the proven Reading for Readiness Program! DM me for details or email me at [email protected]

Want to improve your English reading skills but not sure what book is suitable for your level? Use the 5-finger rule!
📚Don’t read what you cannot understand. That will give you nothing but feelings of frustration.
📚If the book you’re reading makes you scratch your head every three words, put the book down and look for something more suitable to your level. Something easier.
📚Reading should be a pleasurable activity that makes you look forward to doing it. It shouldn’t become a hurdle.
📚So you can just read what you can mostly understand. You can then gradually challenge yourself with more complex texts.
📚But say you want to read a particular book. How can you know if it is suitable for your level?
Use the 5-finger rule.
It’s a useful tool to help you select your reading material.
