The School Vision and Mission
My Name is Ms Perky Umera, The Managing Director and Founder of Purpose Finder Academy
School Vision
Our vision as Purpose Finder Academy is to empower our learners in order to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them, as life-long leaners, to participate in and contribute to the global world and practice the core values of the school.
History
Purpose Finder Academy is a manifestation of my ministry calling. Born out of Bright Student Learning almost a decade ago, brick by brick we have built thus far. The history of the school ladies and gentlemen, is an amazing journey and we are still far from getting close to our vision. As the name suggest, Purpose Finder, we are distinguishing ourselves from other educational institutions through provision of purposeful learning. “Purpose is a long-term, forward-thinking intention that is both meaningful to the self and consequential to the world.” Our educational needs and services are inspired by this view and we have embedded it into our future goals as a learning institution.
Where we are going, we will need purpose and inspiration.
Success is attracted by hard work, commitment, dedication and passion, but to that, you need purpose and inspiration. “Purpose is that sense that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, that we are needed, that we have something better ahead to work for. Purpose is what creates true happiness”. That, ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, is what we at Purpose Finder Academy is striving for.
Future Plans
Dear Parents, we have set great goals for ourselves. We see ourselves beyond offering only academic services to young learners.
As part of our future goals, we envisage a Purpose Finder Academy that provides vocational and psychomotor skills to adults as well. We envisage a Purpose Finder that provides practical electrical courses, bricklaying, entrepreneurship courses and many others as we empower and enlighten the Zimbabwean community and the whole of Africa.
But before we get there, we need to equip Purpose Finder with State-of-the-Art learning Infrastructure. In that regard, key things that should be present at this school as a matter of urgency are as follows:
1. A computer laboratory should be in place by the end of 2022
2. Science Laboratory- to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) this infrastructure should be present at the school. Our education, must not only be 5,0 compliances, but generational changing and competitive.
Strategic Partnership
Education is increasingly viewed as a shared responsibility of educators and families. Purpose Finder Academy will only grow through strategic partnership with parents, who are the key stakeholders. Schools and families have essential roles to play in promoting children’s positive development and academic performance. When educators and parents work together as partners, they create important opportunities for children to develop social, emotional, and academic competencies.
Thus, mutual goal-setting is a great way to encourage parent involvement, working together to collaborate to improve children’s learning. A we share the responsibility of child development, Purpose Finder Academy suggests that “clarity, alignment, and evidence of success are three objectives that problem solvers” must keep in mind. When parents have the opportunity to participate in problem-solving, they also become part of the solution. We are therefore, encouraging and urging parents to play a key role in the schools projects.
Thank you

Good evening dear parents. We have since opened schools on the 12th of January. We are moving at a tremendous speed in doing our work. My sincere request to those who have not yet reported to school is to do so on Monday at all costs. This is to make sure we avoid some delays and inconveniences in syllabus coverage as we believe in "NO CHILD SHOULD BE LEFT BEHIND"policy. May the students bring with them all the stationery as is on the stationery list
Thank you. Have a blessed night.

Dear Parent/Guardian
Seasonal greetings to you all. I hope this letter finds you in good health. We thank the good Lord for guiding us safely throughout the whole year and being able to survive this harsh pandemic of Covid 19. I really appreciate your support in as far as the fees payment is concerned.
As we are approaching the end of the year 2021, it is my wish as the school Managing Director to show gratitude to my team (teaching and non-teaching staff) who have made this year a success. The year 2021 has been a very challenging year because of the covid pandemic and the effects it had to the school and the nation at large. Our teaching and non teaching staff worked tirelessly to cover the gap created and to make sure that the learners make up for the time lost.
To show my gratitude to great work done, I'm appealing to you parents to help me thank my staff by providing food hampers to them. Anything that you are going to offer will be put into intended use. Rice, cooking oil, tomato sauce, mayonnaise, drinks, sugar etc

Greetings.
The due date of registration for the November 2021 Cambridge International Examination is 30 July 2021. Our students are to register with British Council South Africa.
The registration portal we use is to open this July. On that portal that is where we are to have the exact quote per subject for this year. Send is the cost per subject as used in the June examinations. Basing on the trend, the examination fee do not vary. If it does it's only because of the flactuating rate of the rand to the pound.
The students completed registration forms so as parents can have an idea of the expected amount. The exam fee is to be deposited into the school account. There is an additional R300 for Administration purpose. Upon payment kindly send a POP to the principal. Ensure to reference the amount with name of child and as CIE exam.
All pupils are to have a valid passport. Upon submission of the registration details on 30 July, the profile of each child is to have a:
1. Completed registration form,
2. Copy of a valid passport,
3. Passport sized photos.
Thank you.
