Cape for Kids

• We are thrilled that our book, Monty’s Fynbos Surprise has been included in the Footprints Nature Quest curriculum, published by Footprints on our Land, a South African home education curriculum supplier of over 20 years. Footprints Nature Quest, the brand new programme in the popular home education series focuses on natural sciences and geography, with a strong emphasis on conservation. With Footprints Nature Quest children learn about the incredible biodiversity of South Africa's nine biomes, read engaging stories from each area and discover what they can do to protect South Africa’s rich natural heritage from imminent threats! Families use stories, colourful reference books and biographies combined with outings into nature to give their children a truly ‘living’ education. The programme delights parents and children alike with gripping tales about incredible journeys, about treasure, about rescue and about survival. It inspires them with stories about entrepreneurship, eco-tourism and about careers in nature.

We are delighted that our story book is being used to raise up a generation of young people who CARE about conservation issues and to energise them to find solutions.

To celebrate Women's month we asked the women of Starting Chance to share their words of wisdom. Cape for kids helps support these amazing women as they educate the little children of Mfuleni.
