Re: Vaccination of teachers

We are aware of the Department of Basic Education’s priority rollout plan to vaccinate teachers, who opt-in for the vaccination.

At this stage, it seems that the Department of Social Development does not have a similar plan. We are engaging the Department to afford ECD teachers the same priority choice should they wish to be vaccinated.

As soon as we receive communication from DSD in this regard, we will immediately communicate that to our members.
