Today I spent the morning at Cedar House helping the kids prepare for their upcoming assessment period. We had a big focus on executive functioning and explored learning styles, tackled the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritise tasks, and unpacked practical strategies for planning, organisation, time management, and studying smarter rather than harder.


The students then worked together to map out what each assessment would require and create realistic plans for the days leading up to them. OT for the win.

No frantic pace. No cookie-cutter thinking.
Just teenagers learning in a space where their voices matter.
