We’ve been quiet but still continuing with our sessions . We meet up with the girls every month twice and speak about our daily challenges and empower them with life skills . In addition we started a netball team as we working with girls as extra activity to keep them from the streets and occupied.

Our netball team runs under Her Journey however we just shortened it and we named it HJ Netball Acadamey!!! .

This pass 2 months we’ve been busy we had a Easter packet to our girls and we played a few matches in Manenberg and out of Manenberg .

We requesting for any contribution or donations as we would want to make the girls a kit to play in and in future present as a team looking presentable.

Instantly we had little ones coming through and it’s difficult sending them back into the streets on the spot we arranged something to keep them occupied aswell . We believe this is our future generation and we will train them up the way they should go and when they older we pray they won’t depart from it 🥺❤️.

We at Her Journey are fully aware we not doing this out of our own strength and power but only God allowing us to go above and beyond !

This is only the start of new things in Manenberg ❤️.

Today we had our first girl session . Where we took the time to speak to our girls in our community. Our young people wants this , infact they need healthy role models , healthy leaders to lead them .

Like I mention to them our Organization name is “Her Journey” referring to everyone and their path in life however we strive to walk the path along with them .

Today we spread some love in Ruimte Road and Kasouga.We had a fantastic day along with the community supporting our children, with showcasing there talent.

Our Monthly sessions will take place every month to our girls from 11 years old up !!!!

A special thanks to each and everyone who contributed or helped in any form of way to this idea which was reality today❤️. We do appreciate your efforts.

We are starting off with making sure our girls are send off with some stationery for there education year of 2023❤️.

We believe education is the key to success and encourage it to our girls.

Girls are you ready!!!!!!!!!!!
We at Her Journey are back next year with a bang📌. We faced some challenges however we back to uplift and empower our young people.

With that being said we popped in with Nadine Henry from Chrysalis Academy, Tokai on Friday afternoon in Manenberg and issued some sanitary pads to girls at her centre .

2020 has been one tough year but we made it !!

We will be starting with our sessions starting in May we getting everything on track and ready for action. We focusing on Boys aswell starting this year .
