Stellenberg se boogskietleerders het op 1 Augustus aan die AGA Provinsiale Boogskietkompetisie van 2026, deelgeneem.

1998 - Uitnemendheid in sport, akademie en kultuur

Die eerste jaarlikse sportdinee word aangebied, met die voormalige Springbok, Toks van der Linde, as gasspreker.

Vir die eerste keer in die skool se geskiedenis word die Suma Cum Laude-toekenning toegeken. Hierdie besondere eer het Jako Nieuwoudt te b***t geval. Die toekenning bestaan uit ’n maroen erebaadjie en word aan ’n leerling wat senior akademiese, sport- én kultuurerekleure verwerf het, toegeken.

The new pavilion next to the A rugby field was completed, as well as the 200 seats at the A hockey and cricket fields.

The first golf team achieved an overall third place in WP Schools Golf. Three members of the team, Sean McCleland, Nicol van Wyk and Dylan Wagner, were awarded provincial colours.
Anton Groenewald en Christo van der Westhuizen het WP o.17-kleure vir krieket verwerf.

Twee rugbyspelers, Heini Filmalter en Morné Marais, het die WP by die o.19-Cravenweek verteenwoordig.

Two learners, Jo-An Boshoff and Kathleen Pienaar, were selected for the WP U19 tennis team.

The matric group of 258 learners achieved 58 A averages, with an impressive 100% pass rate. The top candidate, Gretha van Niekerk, achieved an outstanding fourth place on the Western Cape merit list.

Hierdie jaar se inspirerende tema, NATURA, vier die buitengewone skoonheid van die natuur. Leerders het herwinde klere, tekstiele en alledaagse materiale in verbeeldingryke couture-skeppings omskep, wat bewys dat volhoubare mode terselfdertyd innoverend én asemrowend kan wees.

From the mysterious depths of the ocean with its variety of vibrant coral reefs and delicate seaweed to the bounty of leaves, tulips, lavender and hibiscus, nature provides endless inspiration. Bees, butterflies and other creatures also emerge as fascinating motifs, translated into striking garments and accessories through inventive design techniques and unexpected materials.

GRUNGE COUTURE is more than a fashion show—it is a celebration of design thinking, environmental responsibility and youthful creativity. Every creation tells a story of transformation, demonstrating how discarded materials can be given new life through imagination and craftsmanship.
