🎄✨ When Concert Preparations Meet Farm Life… 🐾❤️

With the fourth term sneaking up on us, concert preparations are officially under way! Amongst all the festive excitement, one of the most important highlights is, of course, celebrating the birth of our Saviour. ✝️❤️

So, into the storeroom we go — digging, planning, dusting, checking what is still usable and discovering what may need a little TLC. 😅

Our famous, well-loved crib has been with us for many years, so naturally, a quick assessment was needed.

Out onto the stoep it goes…

And within a blink of an eye, we turn our backs and come back to THIS! 😂🐐❤️

Apparently, our little farm residents also feel they should have a say in this year’s Nativity preparations!

One of the sweetest (and funniest) moments of having a school on a rescue farm. 🥰🐾

At Puddleduck, even our Christmas preparations come with a little bit of chaos, a lot of love, and some very unexpected helpers! 🐐🎄❤️

🎬🍿 Puddleduck Movie Day!

Yes... we know. There isn't a mountain of sweets, or fluorescent snacks in sight. We like to keep our children terribly disappointed with fruit, veggies, and other suspiciously healthy treats. 😏🍎🥕🍇

👀 Spot the healthy snacks!

And don't worry, parents... it's only once a year. 😉😂

Every now and then, everything deserves a little upgrade... and this time it was Puddleduck's billboard! 🦆✨

A fresh new look, the same loving hearts, and the same commitment to providing a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where little ones can learn, play, and grow.

Keep an eye out for our new billboard—we can't wait for you to see it! 💛💚

With only a few learners present, a rainy day, and assessments still needing attention, you could do both—keep assessments light and turn the day into a memorable learning experience.

Puddleduck Homeschool Centre

"Rainy days are for making memories too!" 🌧️🐴

With only a few learners at school today, we decided to make the most of the rainy weather. While we will still complete the necessary assessments, we believe learning should also be filled with joy, adventure, and hands-on experiences.

So today, we added a little horsey fun to brighten the day! After all, some of the best learning happens when children are smiling, exploring, and making special memories together.

At Puddleduck, we believe in balancing learning with laughter. ❤️🐴📚

At Puddleduck Homeschool we have discovered something shocking… 😱
Apparently children cannot survive on worksheets alone.

Who knew? 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
So yes… we do schoolwork, writing, reading, studying AND learning our 123’s and ABC’s… 📚✏️

BUT… every now and then we escape the classroom for very serious activities like:
🐐 Giving animals cuddles
🎨 Creating “masterpieces” for mom’s fridge
🏃 Running wild with zero direction
🌿 Touching grass professionally
😂 And practicing the art of simply being children

Because at Puddleduck Homeschool we believe happy kids learn better… and tired kids sleep better 😅💛

At Puddleduck Homeschool, little hands are busy and little minds are growing 🐥✏️

Right now, our learners at our Homeschool are hard at work — copying, tracing, and counting with such focus and determination 🤍

You can see the concentration in their eyes and the pride in every line they trace and every number they get right. These simple, quiet moments are where the real magic happens ✨

Each small step they take today is building confidence, independence, and a love for learning that will stay with them for years to come 🌿

We are so proud of them♥️

Some quick donkey love before the storm 🤎🌧️

There’s just something so special about these gentle souls… a little calm, a little cuddly, and full of quiet magic. Our Puddleduck days are never complete without some furry love and happy little moments like these.

Storm or sunshine, the animals always remind us to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the simple things 🐴✨
