Childline visited the Grades 4 to 7 this week to discuss a very important topic: Bullying.

This Friday( 23 September), we call on all our learners to dress up in a Proudly South African outfit. Whatever your culture, be proud!

Dear Parents and friends of St Anthony’s PS. We say goodbye to an ex teacher, who was also a learner at our school. Many of you will fondly remember Mrs Priscilla Koning . A dedicated and committed teacher. Sadly, she passed on Saturday, 30 July 2022.

Dear St Anthony’s family,

Compliments of the season. May 2022 be a year of good health and contentment.
Our staff, teaching and non-teaching, have been hard at work preparing for your child's arrival.

We welcome Mr Mushfield, physical education, Ms Wood-Callander, Grade 3WC, and Ms Frechas, Grade 4F, to our team.

Grade 5 - 7 parents:
Please acquaint yourself with the 2022 daily attendance roster sent at the end of last term. A copy thereof, will be posted. Sadly, parents will not be allowed onto the premises tomorrow. We still follow strict Covid-19 protocols.

Uniforms:
Learners from Grade 1 to 7 will still be allowed to wear civvies or the full summer uniform. We have approached a company to manufacture a tunic for the girls. This should be available for purchase during the third term.
Grade R learners begin on Thursday, 20 January 2022 at 08:30.

Please invest in a navy sun hat for your child, these are on sale at school. Learners are encouraged to bring a bottle of water to school.

A new school year starts tomorrow. We hope it will be a positive and productive year!

Today we say goodbye to someone who has become part of our school and will remain part of our school for years to come. Ms van der Byl ( Mrs Augustus) retires after serving 40 years as an educator. She has influenced countless young lives for the better. We thank her for her sacrifice and contribution to St Anthony’s RC Primary School. Farewell and enjoy your retirement. 🥲
