Did you know:

Mauritania is a country on the Atlantic coast of Africa.
Its flag is THE MOST RECENT flag unveiled, in the world.

It was raised for the 1st time at Independence Day celebrations on 28 November 2017!

Much of the country encompasses the Sahara Desert and until 1970 when major drought hit them, most of the population was nomadic. Not so much anymore.
They have large reserves of iron ore, copper and gypsum! Nice to know! 😀
