Otters' Creek Schools Our school is inclusive and diverse. Our team is committed to excellence. Our mission is to make learning creative, fun and relevant.

We employ strategies to teach with a clear purpose, creating extraordinary educational experiences and to do all this within a holistic educational framework. We serve all children from diverse backgrounds. We mentor and support our staff to reach their full potential in order to unlock the potential within their learners. We include parents as partners in school events and community programmes. Our school model is based on:
-Consultation and collaboration with all role players and stakeholders.
-To observe the needs of learners, educators and parents.
-To adjust and design interventions regularly and accordingly.
-To be innovative and to stay abreast of changes within our educational landscape.

We are very proud of our baby and toddler centre that is now almost 2 years old.
We started this venture in January 2025 with 8 babies and 3 staff.
We’ve grown to 20 babies and toddlers with 8 staff; divided into 3 manageable groups with 2 caregivers for each group and a cleaning lady.
Kashiefa is our manager who will happily show you around. We look forward to serving you and your baby or toddler.
We give working parents peace of mind while not only caring for their babies and toddlers but we also stimulate their cognitive development and strengthen their bodies. The toddlers paint, mould play dough, build blocks, ride bikes, have story time and much more.
The babies under 12 months are in a separate area with one-on-one story time, tummy time exercises and much more.
Our play areas are clean and safe.

From our school to the recycling centre! ♻️🌍 Gr. 7 proudly turned their environmental awareness into action, delivering the recyclable materials they collected and discovering how their small efforts can contribute to a cleaner, greener future. They also gave a REPORT/EVALUATION to the whole school in assembly today on this project and journey! 😊♻️

We teach our preschoolers about entrepreneurship through fun market day experiences. They create their own crafts and prepare sweet treats either at home or at school to sell to their friends. They learn how to earn money, how to budget and how to spend it. Our teachers had training on early financial literacy for preschoolers. This is what they’ve learnt in action.
