We celebrate an incredible milestone, 21 years of partnership with Chrysalis Academy, Tokai

For two decades, our strategic youth peacebuilding partnership has created life-changing opportunities for young people. Together, we have hosted five international youth peacebuilding conferences featuring five different Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, while delivering numerous youth training, leadership development, mentoring, and empowerment initiatives that have impacted countless lives.

We are deeply grateful for this high-level partnership and for the profound role Chrysalis Academy has played in transforming the lives of many within our youth peacebuilding and mentoring organisation.

It is with great pride that our South African Affiliate Director, Earl Albert Mentor, is a 2003 Alpha Graduate of this prestigious holistic youth empowerment organization. The values, leadership, resilience, and sense of purpose cultivated through the Chrysalis journey continue to inspire us all every day.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this remarkable 20-year journey. Here’s to continuing to empower young leaders, build peace, and create lasting positive change for generations to come.

✨ Honouring Mandela Day Through Service and Partnership ✨

On 18 July, Mandela Day, PeaceJam South Africa was honoured to partner once again with our long-standing Community Service Learning partner, Restoring Hope, for a truly meaningful day of giving back.

Together with an incredible network of community partners—including Vault Markets, Sanlam, Sigma, PlayStation Rush, and many others—we came together to serve the deserving community of Victoria Lodge. The atmosphere was filled with kindness, unity, and purpose, reminding us of the extraordinary impact we can make when we work together.

Witnessing genuine compassion in action was both powerful and inspiring. We are deeply grateful to have contributed alongside our dedicated PeaceJam staff, interns, and youth team members, whose passion for service continues to embody the values of active citizenship and compassionate leadership.

As we reflect on this special Mandela Day, we remain committed to our ongoing Community Service Learning projects and invite individuals, organisations, and businesses to partner with us by donating goods in kind to support the communities we serve. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for hope, dignity, and positive change.
