Nobel Peace Laureates mentoring youth to change the world. http://mentoringpeacebuilders.org

The modern world is becoming smaller, highly integrated and technologically more advanced. It is also becoming highly fragmented, less peaceful and unsafe for both present and future generations. We are led to believe that globalization and the Internet links have made the world smaller – a village indeed, facilitating the exchange of information and knowledge, and, creating an exponential leap in the generation of global wealth. This wealth creation process however, has failed to fulfill aspirations of our youth, and bring prosperity and peace to the large majority of marginalized people living in South Africa.

'Do your little bit of good where you are; its those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.' - Desmond Tutu

Restoring Hope

Day 3 of 21 Voices for Peace 🕊️

Today, we bring you the voice of Dale Hendricks from PeaceJam South Africa and Restoring Hope.

For Dale, “Peace Takes All of Us” is a reminder that peace is a shared responsibility. It begins in the small ways we show up for one another, in our homes and communities, and in choosing to be part of the solution rather than leaving peace for someone else to create.

Join the cause! Because; Peace Takes All of Us. 💙

We have built something beautiful together 🫂🇿🇦🌎

The power of looking at what others see!

Sometimes, we understand a situation only when we step outside our own point of view. Looking at what others see allows us to notice things we may have overlooked, understand experiences different from our own, and approach challenges with greater empathy.

Perspective does not mean abandoning our own view. It means being willing to see beyond it. When we learn to look through another person’s eyes, we often discover that there is more than one way to understand the same moment.

True insight begins when we stop asking only, “What do I see?” and start asking, “What might they see?”
