Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.
To the dads, grandfathers, brothers, mentors, and members of our Fairmont staff who show up with love, guidance, encouragement, and support, thank you. Your presence, wisdom, and care help shape the lives of the young people entrusted to us each day.
We also take a moment to remember and honour the Fairmont fathers who are no longer with us. Their impact and legacy continue to be felt by those who loved them.
From all of us at Fairmont, we wish you a very happy Father’s Day and hope you enjoy a special day with those who matter most 💚

50 years ago, the youth of South Africa changed history.
Today, we remember the learners of 16 June 1976 whose courage, determination and belief in a better future left an enduring legacy for generations to come.
As a school community, we honour their memory by continuing to value education, opportunity, respect and service. Their story reminds us that young people have the power to shape the future and make a lasting difference in the world around them.
On this Youth Day, we remember. We honour. We carry their legacy forward.

Today is Admissions Acceptance Day, and we know that this can be an incredibly stressful and emotional time for both parents and students alike.
With limited places available, we fully understand the concern, disappointment, and frustration that many families may be experiencing today. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as our Admissions team works through all communication.
Please note that any and all appeals must be sent ONLY to [email protected]. We respectfully request that appeals are not sent to any other email addresses listed on our website, as this may delay the process.

We trust that everyone will understand and cooperate during this time, and we wish all families strength and clarity as they navigate this journey.
