How often do we listen just enough to respond, instead of listening to understand?
This short video is a great reminder that communication is about more than hearing words—it's about understanding the message.
The way teams communicate with one another shapes the experience they create for customers. When people listen well, collaborate effectively, and communicate with intention, better customer experiences follow.
If your customers could rate how well your team listens, what score would they give you out of 10, and why?

Customer experience isn't just about meeting expectations. It's about creating moments that people remember.
Unforgettable moments are created by employees who feel seen, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
In this thought-provoking video, Simon Sinek shares a powerful reminder that great customer experiences begin with empathetic leadership. When leaders genuinely care for their people, they build trust, strengthen engagement, and create cultures where putting customers first becomes a natural way of working.
How has an empathetic leader influenced the way you serve your customers or support your team?
What happens when learning feels more like play?
For Hollard's Customer and Broker team, we designed a bespoke board game experience that brought key capabilities to life, including ownership, consistency, and stakeholder management.
Delegates embarked on a journey guided by unique characters and immersive challenges. Along the way, they solved real-world scenarios, tackled brain-teasing riddles, unleashed their creativity through drawing, modelling and building activities, and stepped into the spotlight through role plays and acting challenges.
The result? A highly engaging learning experience that encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and practical application in a fun and memorable way.
Because the best learning doesn't feel like learning, it feels like an experience.

When organisations invest in building these behaviours, they create a culture where internal service drives external excellence.
Because the customer experience is only ever as strong as the team behind it.
How are you equipping your people to support one another?
Behind every great employee experience is intentional design.
Our team recently designed and delivered a fully integrated onboarding programme for Hollard, combining physical and digital experiences to create a memorable journey for new recruits.
Through immersive campus exploration, interactive pop-up activations, a dedicated learning app, and innovative learning methodologies, we helped transform onboarding into an engaging and meaningful experience that connects people to purpose from day one.
We're passionate about creating learning experiences that people don't just complete, they remember.

Recently, while facilitating a Customer Experience masterclass, one idea kept coming up: Every role impacts the customer.
Whether you answer emails, process invoices, solve problems, or lead a team, your work shapes someone else’s experience.
Customer experience is not a department. It is a mindset. And it is everyone’s responsibility.
For decades, IQ has been viewed as a key predictor of success.
But research and experience continue to show that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) plays an equally important role.
The ability to understand and manage emotions, build relationships, and navigate challenges effectively can have a significant impact on workplace performance and leadership effectiveness.
We love this video from Daniel Goleman, psychologist, author, and one of the world's leading experts on Emotional Intelligence, as he explains why EQ is such a critical capability in today's workplace.
Do you think EQ is as important as IQ in today's workplace?

One of the most underrated leadership skills right now? Emotional Intelligence.
Not because leaders need all the answers. But because people remember how you make them feel.
At its core, EQ shows up in the moments that matter: • Really listening
• Staying steady under pressure
• Seeing things from someone else’s perspective
That’s what builds trust.
Which EQ skill do you think leaders need most right now?
