As the digital landscape evolves, parents are facing entirely new questions about what the future holds for the next generation.

In our latest interviews with parents within the Students for a Better Future community, profound insight was shared on the hidden gaps our children face and parents’ concerns.

The decline in building essential life skills, the risk of losing traditional information-sourcing and deep research abilities, and why growing up in this era demands true digital resilience. They also emphasized an urgent modern necessity—teaching our youth deep information discernment and the ethical usage of AI rather than just passive consumption.

The digital landscape is shifting faster than ever and for parents, the anxiety around what the future holds is very real.

In a few short interviews with parents within the Students for a Better Future community, we asked them to share what their concerns for the digital future were. Our first interviewee spoke on the importance of future-proofing through gaining the right competencies in a heavily automated world, and identifying the exact kinds of roles and skills our youth should target to actually benefit from the digital shift rather than get left behind.

How do we bridge the gap between academic potential and the fast-evolving corporate landscape?💡

This month, we had the privilege of hosting an intensive AI in the Workplace workshop tailored specifically for the Students for a Better Future (SBF) alumni cohort.

Together, we explored how AI can be used to produce large gains in the workplace, tackling real-world workflows and automations. We skipped the hyped up convo around AI and dove deeper into understanding how AI adds as a tool accross job roles, and the things that we lose when we disengage from work and employ AI; teaching young leaders how to maintain ethical, critical oversight while driving immense productivity.

Thank you to the Students for a Better Future community for partnering with us to ensure these extraordinary minds are fully equipped to step into the boardroom and lead from day one.

A robotics lab has been launched at Siyifunile Secondary School in Mpumalanga, expanding access to coding, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital skills in a rural setting. 🤖

The programme introduces coding and robotics from grade 8, with advanced AI and career-readiness training in higher grades.
