Dear Matrics

The MATRIC REVISION SCHOOL will take place in the middle week of the school holidays, from 6 - 10 July 2026. Registration closes on Wednesday, 1 July.

Every year, there is a final rush after the matrics get their June reports. At the moment, many of the original courses are fully booked, but we have created additional duplicate courses to accommodate the large numbers who are still applying. Although we will try to accommodate everyone who applies, registration continues to be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once you have registered, I will send each matric learner a personal schedule indicating your courses and times etc.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your marks – the matrics who have attended the programme in the last 10 years can testify to the positive impact attending the Revision School has had on their Prelim and Final results. It is an investment in your future!

Lifelong learners tend to have broader social networks because courses and training programmes provide opportunities to meet people with shared interests and expand professional connections.

The Matric Revision School is registering very well, and we have had to create additional classes to accommodate the large numbers of matrics wishing to do the courses. Registration is ongoing, but the final day for registration is at least 3 days before the relevant course begins. You can register electronically or pop into our Finance office to make card payments between 08:30 and 15:30, Monday to Friday, during the school term.

Dear Matrics

Time is running out to register for the Revision School. Don't wait until you get your June results, because many of the courses will be fully-booked by then!

The courses will take place during the middle week of the July school holidays, from 6 - 10 July.

These courses are NOT restricted to Bergvliet High School learners, and since class numbers are limited, you will need to register early to secure a space. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please don’t procrastinate because these courses fill up fast!
The revision courses are presented by experienced matric teachers from various schools, who have also marked the external National Senior Certificate Examination and are therefore familiar with the standards required.

The purpose of the Revision School is to prepare matrics for their prelims and finals by exposing them to typical exam-type questions and exam tips to ensure that they are well prepared for the exams. Detailed study notes will be provided. Those who attended the Grade 10 & 11 Revision schools in the past will appreciate the benefits of these courses.

On Saturday we learnt how to save lives in the Advanced Trauma First Aid training which is very practical. It replaces the former Level 2 & 3 First Aid courses....
