We were thrilled to welcome the City of Cape Townβs Energy Directorate to our school as part of the Energy Efficiency Schools Programme (EESP) 2026. Our learners enjoyed an engaging session on energy efficiency and sustainability an important topic for the next generation of changemakers.
The programme, delivered by Jungle Theatre Company in partnership with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, uses interactive theatre and workshops to bring these vital concepts to life in a creative and memorable way.

π OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT π
We are proud to announce that one of our very own learners, Josh Lance Lemmetjies, has officially launched his campaign for Junior City Council (JCC) Mayor of Cape Town.
This is a significant milestone, not only for Josh, but for our entire school community. His campaign is built on a vision of leadership, innovation, and meaningful impact within the city and among young people.
While the official voting process lies with the JCC councillors, this moment represents something bigger β a learner stepping forward to lead, to serve, and to represent the voice of youth at a city level.
π We celebrate this bold step and wish him strength and success on his journey.
