This has become quite serious as the hacker is asking people to invest their money and are falling for the scam as they know Fagan is a trustworthy guy. Cedar Mitchellsplain finally breaking the silence about our plight. So much gets achieved on Cedar High School of the Arts with minimal funding and support from parents. We will be losing great staff members because of Parents neglect towards a privileged form of creative education in our community. It's a mentality shift that we need to create on the Cape Flats that's shift away from "Free Education" towards "Empowering school through parent support"...

We as Cedar High School too to the streets to voice our concerns about Women and Child abuse...Posters and placards were made by our arts department and showcased how learners felt about our ongoing struggle...

Violence against woman and children is on the rise.


We will be hosting a campaign to voice our concern about the violence against woman and children. We have to find ways to make our community a much safer place. This violence is affecting each and every one of us.

Therefore we, as Cedar High School, cannot remain silent anymore.

We would like to invite the Mitchells Plain Community to join us Tuesday 06 June 2017 where learners from grade 8-12 will participate in a voluntarily March.

Learners and parents are encouraged to create their own posters and banners for this demonstration.

The demonstration will start on the C/O of Weltevreden and Spine Road, via Park Avenue into Cedars Avenue and back on Weltevreden Road and will end at Cedar high school.

Cedar High Learners took to the Poles in Term 1 with the ever popular RCL Elections. The Race was closely contested and now sees a new breed of even younger learners taking stand for their fellow learners. The RCL has already worked successfully with the SGB and School Management in having an exciting and memorable Valentines Day show recently. They have also help re-introduce the school shorts into the Cedar High uniform.

Cedar High Football is developing a stronger fraternity. During the year having featured in Mr Price Under 19 League, The Gavin Manuel Under 16 Invitational, The Law Enforcement Under !9 Tournament and a friendly with Stellenbosch University where ^ players were earmarked for scholarships.

The Cedar high Arts and Design took the Arts block by storm in 2016 as they re-painted the walls and pillars. The Album also includes award winning paintings from Cedar Learners which received 90+ % for their final year mark and featured in the local newspaper. It formed part of their portfolios for the year and continued into 2017 with the painting of the girls and boys bathrooms.
