Little Acorns Pre-Primary School

The children loved learning about "opposites" this week. On Friday, they were encouraged to wear their clothes - back to front!

Last week Miss Manners visited Little Acorns and spoke to the children about any worries, fears or anxieties they might have and how to cope with them.

A reminder to all our families and friends that all application forms and deposits must be handed in asap to secure your place for 2019. We have limited space available in all our classes, including Grade R.

The children spent their last week making marble runs, painting bunting for the Wendy House and ended off with a movie morning.

Another creative week for our holiday care - board games, planting beans, sandart and making masks.

Once again the children have had such fun during the first week of the holidays. Puppet show, paper jets and making their own pizza's.

This week the children have so enjoyed learning about the World Cup soccer in Russia. We are so impressed with our Crocodile and Dolphin classes - their drawings have been amazing and everyone has tried so hard.

Some of our aftercare girls visited Barefoot Rescue on Friday. They had such fun loving and cuddling the little animals. Thank you to those parents who sent in donations of food and blankets.

Thank you to all our dad's who attended our special Father's Day morning today. The children loved having their dads at school and the dads had great fun painting, drawing and building puzzles.

A reminder that it is FATHER'S DAY at Little Acorns tomorrow - Friday 15 June - 08.30 until 10.30. We hope to see as many dads as possible.

This week we learnt about Russia because the FIFA World Cup is being held there. The children really enjoyed learning about another country.
