Three-year-olds: adorable, chaotic, and always two seconds away from climbing something.
With love, of course 👀, daily commands are a must (and they never end).

The imperative mood is used to give commands, directions and instructions.
The informal imperative (the one you see in this post) is basically formed by using the verb in the third-person in the present tense. The same form you use when you say “he drinks”:
✏️ Ele bebe. - He drinks. (present statement)
✏️ Bebe! - Drink! (command - imperative mood)

Now tell me in the comments: what’s the one thing you have to say to your child every single day?

⏳ Do you know how to express time that has passed up to now in Portuguese?

In English, we use the present perfect tense:
🔵 We have been here for an hour.
🔵 I have been a teacher for 18 years now.

But in Portuguese, the verb stays in the present tense, and what makes the meaning clear is the word HÁ + a period of time. This tells us that something started in the past and continues until now.

👉 Check out this post to see exactly how to talk about time expressions in Portuguese!
