It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of our friend and former student Francisco Rodrigues. He was called home to his Father yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Vanuza Rodrigues and his children Kaleb and Hadassa. We remember him for his warm smile, funny jokes, caring nature and for always being part of our crazy programmes. We will miss him. Until we meet again, rest in peace. From Sam, the SALA teachers, host families and fellow students.🌹

Remembering Uncle Patrick, who was also part of our SALA family.

Dear St James family and friends

We are of course conscious that many within our St James' family have lost beloved friends and family members during this difficult time. Our hearts are with you as you as grieve. Today we experienced sadness upon sadness in the loss of Patrick Komanisi - a much loved and long serving member of our ground staff. Patrick was a true gentleman and part of our family at church. Please continue to hold up his family before the Lord in your prayers.

It’s Mandela Day and we are happy to have had the opportunity to serve. This year SALA students had fun packing Santa Shoe Boxes at Canal Walk Shopping Centre. Each box will be given to an underprivileged child!
