We were again privileged to have our Principal, Nastassja Potgieter, invited to adjudicate the Tableview Primary Public Speaking Competition for 2026!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the participants! 🥳👏
Standing up in front of an audience, sharing your ideas and finding the courage to speak takes commitment, preparation and confidence.❤️

🗣️ Public speaking is a vital life skill, helping children communicate their thoughts, express themselves and connect with others.

At Helen O’Grady Drama Academy, our drama classes nurture these skills through voice training, performance, creativity and communication—all in a supportive and encouraging environment. 🎭

Drama- Conclusion of term 3. -

Our Elkanah House Blouberg students get to end their school week with something a little different…

Our after-school drama club gives children a space to step away from the classroom, express themselves, work with others and have FUN – while developing skills that extend far beyond the stage. You do NOT need:
❌ Previous acting experience
❌ Confidence on stage
❌ An audition
❌ To already know how to act
You simply need to be willing to give it a go!
Our productions are an extension of our developmental drama programme – giving children the opportunity to build confidence, communication, teamwork, creativity and connection while experiencing the excitement of working towards something together.
