Grade R Parent Workshop 📚

Thank you to all our Grade R parents who joined us for our Literacy Parent Meeting. We explored the importance of emergent reading skills and shared practical ways parents can build a love for reading and support their child's literacy development at home. We were also excited to introduce our new Grade R Literacy Programme for 2027, which will strengthen the partnership between home and school as we help our little learners become confident, capable readers.
Thank you for being part of your child's reading journey! 💙📖

In the spirit of Mandela Day, our Foundation Phase learners proudly came together to spread kindness by preparing a special gift box of games and stationery for P.C. Petersen Primary School.

Every class played a part in creating something meaningful to include in the box, showing that even small hands can make a big difference. We were especially excited to see the plastic lids our school community collected put to good use, transformed into colourful letters and numbers for the Grade 2 learners to use in their classroom.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this a day of giving, creativity and hope. Thank you also Renee Lighton and laarger tea for kids for the donation💛🖤🤎
