Let's talk about physical education. Why is it so important for learners to develop their gross motor skills in the foundation years? Is it only to develop potential future sports stars, or is there more to it? Developing balance, hand-eye-coordination, hand-foot-coordination, midline crossing, and many more skills is not just about being able to throw, catch, or kick a ball. It prepares the child for academics as well.
