BHS Past Pupils

The European contingent of the BHS Class of 1990 celebrated their 35th reunion in London on Saturday.
What a special evening, with people travelling from Europe and across the UK to reconnect and share memories. The years literally melted away, in some cases people had not seen each other in 35 years.
Great memories, then and now, created by awesome people!
Missed all of our fellow 1990 Bergies who weren't able to be with us.

1990 Reunion
"We had such a great time, and we were so impressed by all the developments at BHS. So much change - new library, new computer centre, new arts centre and the very meaningful Memorial Quad and garden. And yet it was also so very familiar! We loved going round to all the classrooms and Mrs. Demas and Mr. Charles Smith were expert tour guides. Mr. Smith reminded us where all our old teachers’ classrooms were and we had a good few laughs reminiscing about our time there.
We’re already looking forward to our 40-year reunion".

Past pupil, Matthew Brandon Arense (2013) is running for leopards.
Looking for a worthwhile cause to support? Two of our Cape Leopard Trust team members are taking on the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon on 19 Oct and are hoping to raise R1000 for leopards for every kilometre they’ll be running. Every rand comes directly to the CLT to be used for our research, conservation and education initiatives.
With 23 days to go they are on 34% of their target. Help to get them there and support ‘Running for Leopards’!!
