One of the University of Cape Town libraries, specialising in the built environment books articles, Journals, etc
The first Architecture Library occupied two wooden huts on the Upper Campus sports fields. With the completion of the new Centlivres Building in 1959, it was possible to move into the more suitable, permanent accommodation it occupies to this day. In line with faculty restructuring in 1997, the library was re-named the Built Environment Library and serves the School of Architecture, Planning & Geomatics and the Department of Construction Economics & Management.

No better comfort on campus then in BEL
Updates : we recently revamped the library. now its the state of the art with new furniture and bigger space. come and see for yourself. we regret that only Architecture and Planning students have access, if your card cant open the doors kindly buzz once we will gladly open for you.
hey ppl its been a long time, hope all is well ... will will be uploading new books and more updates about the library . so far stay blessed.
