Southern Africa School of Theology-Western Cape

A leading Pentecostal school empowering ministers to fulfill the Great Commission We are located at the Cape Theological Seminary (CTS) campus in Killarney.

We believe God is raising up pastors, church planters, and ministers for such a time as this and desire to see a generation of church leaders who are passionate about ministering to God’s people be fully-equipped to step into that calling with excellence. Our program consists of three levels of well-rounded academic courses from the Africa’s Hope Discovery Series curriculum, as well as providing opportunities for hands-on practical ministry experience at each level. All our classes are held in person on Tuesday and Thursday evenings so we are able to accommodate those who are unable to attend traditional day-schools. SAST-WC serves as the primary ministerial training program for the International Assemblies of God and is open to all students of the Western Cape. Please contact us for further information or questions and allow us to serve you on as you journey in your calling to minister.

We just want to take a moment to cheer for our students who are currently mid-way through their Principles of Counseling Block Course Intensive! Twice a year we have a block course where one course is focused on and completed within one week. It can be challenging but truly rewarding, and we are so proud of our students for their efforts and high spirits!

We have a few changes happening at SAST Western Cape in 2021. This year we have welcomed a new member of staff, Pastor Michael Mwandia who will be joining as our academic Dean. Many of our students will know Michael as a previous lecturer of subjects such as Eschatology and Hermeneutics. He is looking forward to furthering the relationship we have with our students and building on the foundation already laid. We wish to thank our outgoing Dean, Pastor Gurson Fortuin, for his hard work and service as well as his commitment to the school and our students. We pray for God's greatest provision, peace and guidance for you and your family as you begin your new journey ahead.
"The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Isaiah 58:11
