Word Building Mats 😁

Word building mats using the Jolly Phonics groups. The focus is to build words that have 3 sounds. Find the beginning, middle and ending sound in the top boxes. Build the word in the 3 smaller boxes and then write all the words they can create in the big box on the right.

I know this will work well for my kiddies that struggle. 💕

Jolly Phonics Letter Sound practice cards 😃

Practice, practice, practice! 📖

From Group 1 to Group 7 using lower and upper case letters. Progresses to add groups. Eg. Group 1 plus Group 2, then Group 1, 2 and 3 etc. Until all sounds are together in the last set of cards. Alternatives also included. Cards start with 20 sounds and go up to 100.

Each group or set has 6 pages so more than 1 learner can use them and the order cannot be memorized. 🧠

Long vowel sounds 🤦🏻‍♀️

I know my kiddies struggle with these. They're able to identify the sounds but they're a bit unsure of which spelling to use when. So I've created these cards to help them practice. I'm going to use them during group work or possibly paired work using whiteboards. 💕
