It's a wrap for 2021! Shining Star is officially closed and will reopen on 10th January 2022. Staff will return on the 7th January 2022 for all administrative duties.

Shining Star 2021 year end bash for our baby loves 💘 When our little ones hear costume party, they sure know how to dress up for the occasion 🥰 that's what we love about them, always ready for action and and full of fun and laughter.

Our Shining Stars group 2 had such a blast today...Due to this group being older they had a guided tour around the museum and a dinosaur show that had them captured and enhanced their knowledge 🤩 We extend a huge thank you to the tour guide and the museum for hosting our future leaders 🎓

What an adventure for our Shining Stars today...seeing saurus and other animals in their "man size" form 🤩 quite a learning curve for learners and we extend our thanks to the museum for hosting our little entrepreneur 🎓

Movie day for our Shining stars was quite an adventure and forms part of their every day learning areas in Life skills, Numeracy and Literacy.

Life skills - how to socialize with their peers responsibly 👌

Numeracy - how much they spend on movies and snacks , they had to pay to enter the movie and buy snacks from the snack bar 😅

Literacy - retelling the movie and have conversations amongst them, building their confidence 😁
