🌸 *Happy Grandparents' Day!* 🌸

Today we had the honour of hosting our wonderful grandparents at Childsplay ELC, and what a special day it was!

Our little ones put on a mini concert just for their grandparents and proudly showed off their dance moves!

Thank you to all our Grandparents for joining us and making the day so memorable. A big thank you as well to our amazing teachers for putting everything together. You do so much for our littles🌸

It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, dancing, and special memories❤️

❄️*Winter Olympics Fun!*❄️

What an exciting way to end our Winter-themed week! Today our little athletes took part in their very own Winter Olympics obstacle course. From crawling, climbing, balancing, and racing, everyone gave it their best effort and had so much fun along the way.

The highlight of the day was receiving their medals🥇. Even our babies joined in on the fun and showed off their wonderful enthusiasm and determination.

Throughout the week, we explored all things winter through play, learning, creativity, and movement. It has been a joy watching the children learn new skills, build confidence, and encourage one another.

Ofcourse, there has also been some special Grandparents Day practice. Our littles are planning a little performance for our Grandparents, shhhhh🤭

🌿 Good day, Parents 🌿

This week our theme was *Healthy Environment,* and what a lovely week of learning it has been!

Our little ones learned all about keeping our environment healthy, caring for the world around us, and understanding the importance of recycling. The children explored how recycling works by sorting items into groups such as glass, tins, cardboard and paper — what a fun and exciting activity this was!

We also included academic learning through sorting, counting, matching, fine motor activities, discussions, sensory play and creative art using recycled materials, making learning fun and meaningful for all age groups.

And in preparation for our Grandparents day, pur littles have also started working on special gifts for our very special Grandparents, shhhhh its a surprize!
