Biology shapes the response. Movement sends the signal.

Your bones are constantly listening.

Every step you take...
Every movement you make...
Every period of recovery...

..sends a message to your skeleton.

But movement is only part of the story.

From a biology perspective, bone remodelling is influenced by far more than calcium alone. Your body’s inflammatory response, hormones, nutrient handling, genetics and recovery all help determine how well your bones respond to the signals they receive.

Join Amanda Archibald from The Genomic Kitchen together with Darryl from Human Symmetry as they explore how biology and movement work together to support lifelong bone health.

Two expert lenses. One connected conversation.

Amanda Archibald brings the biology lens, looking at DNA, inflammation, nutrient handling, hormones and recovery.

Darryl Frerk brings the movement lens, exploring alignment, symmetry, compensation, loading and body mechanics.

Together, The Genomic Kitchen and Human Symmetry created My Mobility Code to connect what is happening inside the body with how the body moves, loads and adapts.

You have been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis.

You have been told to take calcium and vitamin D.

You have been advised to walk more, lift weights or do weight-bearing exercise.

You may be worried about balance, falling or losing confidence in the way you move.

But despite all of that advice, you may still be unsure what is actually right for your body.

Generic plans do not always explain how your body is absorbing and using nutrients, how force is moving through your structure, whether you are compensating, or whether your recovery and biology are supporting your bones effectively.

This webinar may be useful if you have been told to protect your bones but still feel unsure what your body actually needs.

Join Darryl Frerk and Amanda Archibald as they bring together the movement and biological sides of bone health.

The same exercise can load two bodies very differently.

Before adding more weight, it is worth asking where that load is actually going.

Posture, symmetry, previous injuries and compensation patterns can all influence how force moves through the body. One area may be doing more than its share, while another is not receiving enough of the stimulus it needs.

That is why supporting bone health is not simply about lifting heavier or doing more exercise. It is also about how your body receives, distributes and adapts to the load.

In our free webinar, Darryl will explain why movement patterns and force distribution matter, and how a more individual approach can help you train with greater confidence.

You received a bone-density score.

But did you receive a strategy?

For many people, a diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis is followed by a recommendation to take supplements, walk more and include weight-bearing exercise.

That advice may be helpful, but it does not always answer the questions that follow.

What type of movement is right for your body? Is the load moving through you effectively? Are your hormones, nutrition and recovery supporting your bones’ ability to adapt? Could your movement patterns be placing too much stress on some areas while others are not receiving enough of the signal they need?

Bone health is not only about doing more exercise. It is about understanding the biological and mechanical factors that influence how your bones respond.

Most people are not short of advice.

Walk more.
Lift weights.
Do weight-bearing exercise.

The harder part is knowing whether that advice is right for the body in front of you.

In my work, I see this all the time. Two people can do the same exercise, but their bodies can receive it very differently.

One person loads well.
Another compensates.
Another avoids the very area that needs the stimulus.
Another cannot recover properly after the load is applied.

That is why I do not believe bone health should be reduced to a generic exercise list.

Bone needs a signal, but the body has to be able to receive it and respond to it.

That is the conversation Amanda Archibald and I will be having in the next My Mobility Code webinar.
