🌿Topic: Biomimicry is a way of thinking, a practical approach, a methodology, a science, and a leadership and design discipline, and a lens/frame of reference for viewing the world. The aim is to consciously and systematically understand and apply the principles behind the successful strategies of organisms and ecosystems in meeting functional needs in changing contexts. This can be applied at the simplest level of improving product/process or systems efficiencies, or at more complex levels of understanding how to successfully navigate the multitude of challenges facing organisations.

Learn Biomimicry - The Online Course To Work On During Lockdown With many using this time at home to learn new skills, online courses are rising in popularity and one South African organisation has launched a timely programme to embark on, whilst considering what the future holds in a post-pandemic society.

In these frantic, restless and harassed times, sometimes it is good just to stop. Listen. Observe. Breathe. Admit we don't know. Ask questions. Practice humility. Be curious. By quieting our cleverness, we are able to put aside our assumptions and what we (think we) know, and make room in our minds for different forms and sources of wisdom to emerge.
