Moses’ preparation to lead God’s people out of Egypt included 40 years of faithfully serving his father-in-law by tending sheep in the wilderness of Midian. Don't be tempted to pursue accolades or recognition, just be faithful & diligent where God has planted you. Always remember, God tests your heart in obscurity PREPARING you for WHAT He's prepared FOR you. Lastly, never forget, a potter spends more time SHAPING the clay than putting it in the Oven.God uses the same approach with us... Shaping before sending.

𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝: 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
1.Are we creating content on our platforms that actually speaks to the questions people outside the church are asking?

2.Are we exploring ministry models around our preferences or around what helps people grow in discipleship and community?

3.Are we empowering leaders to solve problems, or are we creating a culture of dependency on our decisions?

An extract of my devotions this morning that I believe will be invaluable to your philosophy of ministry and leadership...
'the best leaders don't just celebrate success...they stay in rooms that challenge them. When you surround yourself with other leaders who are hungry to grow, you start asking better questions, getting sharper insights, and thinking beyond what’s worked in the past.'

An important principle for effective leadership in the Kingdom of God and beyond.

Here's another three priceless nuggets of wisdom from my devotional reading that I thought I'd share with you.
I) "How you do anything is how you do everything. Faithfulness and attention to detail in the little things always shows up
in the big things".
ii) "Wealth isn’t about what you have, it’s about who you’re with and what you do with
what you have".
iii) "Solitude is a gift. Isolation is toxic".

The following three quotations are my biggest take aways from my personal devotions today:
A) "If you don’t rest adequately, your body will eventually go on strike".
B) "Talk less about yourself. It’s good for you, and for the person you’re talking to".
C) "The people closest to you should have the best experience of you, not the worst. Often, the opposite happens".

Soul Food: Read a fascinating article this morning for my devotions and here's my two biggest takeaways which I thought you may appreciate:

My 2c - EVERY moment in our lives can be redemptive if we prepared to learn and grow from it.

'If you live off of compliments, you will eventually die by criticism'. - Mark Batterson
My 2c - People are fickle, one day you their hero, the next day you could be the villain therefore, the fuel that drives you should not be applause or antagonism, it should be what you believe you were born and called to do in the earth, regardless of the positive or negative response you may receive from those you were sent to.
