🚲🎉 World Bike Day - 3 June 2026!

Our children put their knowledge and skills to the test after learning about safe cycling practices, road awareness, and responsibility on two wheels.

With concentration, confidence, and plenty of excitement, they completed their cycling challenges and proudly earned their bike licences! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

In Montessori education, experiences like these catalyse a love for activity and help children develop independence, coordination, responsibility, and confidence through meaningful, real-world activities.

The formative years are crucial in allowing us to expose our children to positive experiences and foster a love for learning in all aspects of life.

Our little guy in the last clip, now has a new found love for riding his bicycle to school every morning 💙

🐝🍯 In celebration of World Bee Day, Honeycomb children enjoyed a fascinating visit from Jos of Bee-Coming Honey, whose family has deep roots in our school community.

They learned about the life cycle of a bee, how bees communicate, and the vital role they play in our environment. A highlight was tasting fresh honeycomb and experiencing nature's wonders firsthand.

These meaningful, real-world experiences help nurture curiosity, respect for nature, and a deeper understanding of our interconnected world. 🌿🐝

World Bee Day is celebrated annually on May 20th. The global initiative seeks to raise awareness about the critical role pollinators play in sustaining life on Earth and the threats bees face from climate change, habitat loss, and pollution. Honeycomb was not going to miss out on making this a special day in our community! 🐝

What a special time at our Sport's day! The children had such a wonderful time and we are so proud of all their achievements!! We appreciate the generous donations by parents and all the hands that made fundraising possible, and to everyone who helped behind and on the scene which made for a smooth running day! This year we had scrumptious burgers from Sacks Butchery made by our Grill meister Dad's and home made Belgian waffles by one of our awesome families ! What a treat it was! Well done boys and girls! Thank you mom's and dads, grannies and grandpa's, aunts and uncles and everyone else that came out to enjoy the day with us!
