Karate Pride at HCSS! 🥋✨
A huge congratulations to our HCSS learners who took part in the Regional Championships at the Wynberg Military Base Sport Centre last weekened.
Richard and Muna Obiwuru proudly brought home Bronze Medals, while Miracle, who only started karate at the beginning of this term, won a fantastic Silver Medal! 👏
Miracle fought his way into the final and gave a phenomenal performance against a Brown Belt competitor who represented South Africa in Finland last year. What an incredible achievement! ❤️
We are also so proud of our young Team Event competitors, Dominic, Lwandle, Iminathi, Nyasha and Joshua, who represented HCSS with courage and determination.
Well done to all our karate stars. You made the HCSS family very proud! 💛💜🥋

Big news from one of our very own!
Zoey Steyn has been invited to travel to the UK this December to participate in an International Netball Tournament. She was hand picked based on her exceptional performance, and we could not be prouder!
This is such an incredible opportunity for Zoey to represent, grow, learn and take her talent onto a global stage.
Now it’s our turn to rally behind her.
Let’s make some noise, show our support and help Zoey get one step closer to making this dream come true!
Every contribution, big or small, will help with flights, passport and visa costs, accommodation, meals and tournament expenses.
To contribute or find out more, please contact Zoey’s Momager on +27 82 788 7492.
Let’s help take Zoey to the world! 🌍🏐

Here’s a little look into life at HCSS this week 💛✨
This week was filled with so many special moments, happy smiles, and exciting stories from around our school! From funny jokes that made us giggle to amazing art creations and wonderful achievements, our learners have been shining brightly 🌟
We loved seeing our Grade 4 learners share their creativity in Creative Corner with colourful origami animals and mobiles. Our student recommendation section also introduced us to a super exciting book, The Spy Dog, and we had lots of laughs from the hilarious jokes shared by Lisa-Maree and Rose 😄📚
A very special congratulations goes to Othalive for his incredible soccer achievement and VIP match experience ⚽🏆 We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication shown on and off the field.
This week also included a beautiful faith moment as some of our Grade 4 learners celebrated their first confessions with Fr Nkululeko. It was such a meaningful and important day in their faith journey ✝️💛
We also got to learn more about Mrs Myburgh in our staff spotlight and loved hearing all her fun and thoughtful answers 💜
As exams begin next week, we want to wish all our learners the very best. Remember to stay calm, believe in yourselves, and do your best. Your HCSS family is cheering you on every step of the way 🌈✨
A huge thank you to our amazing HCSS News Team for capturing all these beautiful memories and sharing the joy around our school 📸💙
