Cody Watkins (Qaeed ) who disappeared on heritage day while hiking , could finally be put to rest on Thursday 7 October 2021 after DNA tests proved that the body they found a week after his disappearance, was his .

An ex learner said: Cody made high jump looked like the coolest thing ever . And that was what he did. When he jumped, it looked like the easiest thing that anybody could do. With his long lean body he cleared the bar all the time. He showed our other high jumpers how it should be done . He was a very dedicated athlete and sometimes a grapmaker in the class. He was never disrespectful . His mother , also an ex learner, never let the athletes go to a athletic meeting without sorting them out with their fruit for the day. She provided for ALL the athletes all the years that Cody was on high school.
Our hearts are saddened by Cody's untimely death. We ask Allah to bring peace in our hearts, in all the people's hearts that loved Cody . In this difficult time we pray for his mom, Amiena Lakay and for the rest of his family and friends.

May you find peace, Cody Watkins .

Please keep praying for Chelse-Leigh Tiemie in grade 9 who is still in a coma in the hospital .
