The centre mainly focuses on providing 3 categories of services, being "Chinese courses" (online and physical), "Cultural events" and "Merchandise". Our goal is to introduce the beautiful language and culture of China to South African people.

Is your child starting Grade 8 in 2027 and considering Mandarin as a Second Additional Language?

Give them a strong foundation with Huang Laoshi Mandarin Centre’s live online group course. Learners meet twice a week on Zoom and can revisit lesson recordings for revision.

Our past learners’ Mandarin results include 81% in NSC Mandarin SAL using the IEB exam paper, and A* (94) in IGCSE Mandarin Chinese. Individual results vary.
