🛒🍭 Tuckshop Day in Grade 2! 🍭🛒

Today our Grade 2s put their maths skills to the test with a little real-life shopping fun! 💰✨ They practised counting money, working out how much they could spend, calculating change and making smart spending choices — all while enjoying some very exciting treats! 😋

Lots of learning, lots of laughter… and many sweet treats later! 🍬🍫🧁

Maths really is more fun when you can eat the evidence! 😂💰❤️

One of our Grade 7 learners proudly represented Western Province Hockey, earning a Silver Medal in the provincial final.

Adding to this outstanding achievement, she has also been drafted to the Raiders in the CPL Hockey League – a fantastic accomplishment that reflects her hard work, dedication, and talent.

We are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success as you continue to shine. Well done! 💙💛👏

Our rugby girls had the opportunity to visit Cape Town stadium for a practice session with the All Blacks. This was an amazing outing for them

The Cape Town Eisteddfod (established in 1903) is in its 123rd year this year. It is a well respected, prestigious festival that runs every year showcasing talent in five separate categories. This year 13 of our guitarists participated – the most we have had participate to date! They received wonderful comments and advice from the adjudicator and were commended on their musicality, the understanding they showed of their guitar skills and their performances.

Some comments of their performances included:
“deeply expressive / highly engaging / imaginative & confident / gorgeous & highly commendable / fantastic & highly musical / outstanding from start to finish”

Our guitarists achieved:
6 x Honours (80 - 84%)
6 x High Honours (85 - 89%)
1 x Diploma (90 - 100%)

Our guitarists showed commitment & dedication and performed with passion & energy. We are very proud of them for their effort & achievements.

To wrap up our Insects theme, our Grade 3s enjoyed a special and fascinating talk all about bees! 🐝🍯

They discovered the different types of bees, how honey is made, where bees live, and the important role they play in our world. It was a fun and educational experience that brought their classroom learning to life!
