A huge congratulations to one of our talented learners on being selected to represent Western Province Touch Rugby as part of the JIPT U13 Girls Touring Squad!

She will travel to Johannesburg during the September school holidays to compete in this prestigious tournament, showcasing her skill, dedication, and passion for the game.

We are incredibly proud of this outstanding achievement and wish her all the best as she takes to the field and represents Western Province with pride.

🏒❄️ Provincial Honours for Our Ice Hockey Stars! ❄️🏒

A huge congratulations to two of our talented learners on their selection of the U14 Provincial Development Ice Hockey Team for the 2026 Junior Inter-Provincial Tournament!

They will proudly represent their province at the tournament taking place in Gauteng from 28 June – 5 July 2026.

🤸‍♀️🌟 Celebrating Gymnastics Success! 🌟🤸‍♀️
A huge congratulations to one of our learners on her recent achievements in gymnastics!

She competed in the Cape Town District Trials, where she delivered an outstanding performance and earned a Silver Medal, securing her place at the Western Cape Championships taking place in Saldanha from 26–28 June.

As if that wasn't enough, she was also named Gymnast of the Month for May by her gymnastics club, recognising her hard work, dedication, perseverance, and remarkable progress.

We wish her the very best for the Western Cape Championships and look forward to seeing what she achieves next!

A huge thank you to our Edgemead Primary family for supporting our Denim for Diabetes initiative and showing such incredible support for our diabetes warriors.

Together, we raised an amazing R30 000 for Diabetes SA — the highest donation ever made through a school initiative!

Thank you to every learner, parent, and staff member who contributed. Your generosity and community spirit have made a real difference.
