One Ticket. Four Days. Three Experiences. One Industry.

Cape Town, South Africa – 18 June 2026 – FAME Week Africa has announced the launch of Music Week, a powerful new music industry platform that brings together three leading music gatherings under one umbrella from 28 – 31 October 2026 in Cape Town.

Designed to connect artists, creators, executives, entrepreneurs, rights holders, brands, educators and industry professionals, Music Week offers delegates a unique opportunity to experience the full spectrum of the music business through three distinct yet complementary events — all accessible with a single ticket.

The programme opens on 28 October at the CTICC with Muziki Africa, FAME Week Africa’s dedicated music industry conference

From 29 – 30 October at the CTICC, the spotlight shifts to the inaugural Pretty Loud Summit, a bold new platform dedicated to celebrating and empowering women in music.

The week concludes on 31 October at the Protea Fire and Ice Hotel with Music Exchange (MEX26), now in its 16th year and recognised as one of South Africa’s most respected music industry conferences.

MEX26 will bring together local and international thought leaders to discuss innovation, sustainability, rights, entrepreneurship, business development, and the future of the creative economy.

Together, these events create an unprecedented platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and industry growth.

One Ticket. Four Days. Unlimited Opportunity.

Music Week has been designed to maximise value for delegates while strengthening collaboration across the African music ecosystem.
One ticket provides access to all four days of programming, allowing attendees to move seamlessly between conferences, networking opportunities, showcases, business meetings and workshops.

As African music continues its remarkable global expansion, the need for spaces that connect creators with industry decision-makers has never been greater.

Martin Hiller, Portfolio Director of FAME Week Africa, says:

“Music is no longer operating in isolation. Artists today are entrepreneurs, content creators, brands, rights holders and global businesses. Music Week creates a platform where every part of the music ecosystem can come together to share knowledge, build relationships and unlock new opportunities.”

Martin Myers, Founder of Music Exchange NPC, adds:

“The strongest creative industries are built on collaboration, access and shared knowledge. By bringing Muziki Africa , Pretty Loud Summit & Music Exchange together, we are creating a powerful platform where delegates can access industry insights, build meaningful connections and discover new opportunities over four days.
This partnership delivers exceptional value and helps strengthen Africa’s creative economy.”

A Global Industry Meets African Opportunity

Taking place alongside FAME Week Africa, delegates will also gain access to a broader ecosystem of film, television, animation, fashion, creator economy and entertainment professionals from across Africa and around the world.

The 2026 edition will welcome France as the Destination Focus Country, bringing a significant French delegation to Cape Town and creating additional opportunities for international partnerships, cultural exchange and business development.

Speaker announcements for Muziki Africa, Pretty Loud Summit and Music Exchange will be made in the coming months.
