On 11 August 2026, False Bay TVET College’s Westlake Campus welcomed students for the Occupational Programmes (OC) Second Semester Orientation.

Orientation plays an important role in preparing students for their academic journey by introducing them to the College environment, available support services, programme expectations and the resources they need to succeed.

We wish all our students a productive and successful semester ahead!

On 4 August 2026, False Bay TVET College’s Westlake Campus hosted a Health and Wellness Initiative aimed at promoting the overall well-being of our students.

The initiative provided students with an opportunity to engage with health and wellness resources, encouraging them to prioritise their physical, mental and emotional well-being.

The event also brought together various stakeholders, including banks, MTN, Takealot and DKMS, who engaged with students and shared valuable information, services and opportunities.

A healthy and well-supported student community is an important foundation for academic success and personal growth.

Before applying for NSFAS TVET Trimester 3 funding, make sure you meet these requirements:

🇿🇦 Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.

🏫 Institution: You must be accepted or registered at one of South Africa’s 50 public TVET colleges.

💰 Household income:

R0–R350,000: May qualify for an NSFAS bursary.

R0–R600,000: Applicants with a disability may qualify for a bursary.

R350,000–R600,000: May qualify for an NSFAS Student Loan.
