From 13–15 July, you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from a 2 time South African Barista Champion, through internationally recognised SCA training courses.

Whether you’re looking to start a career in coffee, sharpen your existing skills, or deepen your understanding of specialty coffee, these courses are designed to help you grow with confidence.

With multiple sessions running throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to explore a wide range of coffees, compare flavour profiles, and experience how different roasters approach sourcing and roasting. 🌍✨
So whether you’re deep in the coffee world or simply curious to taste something new, there’s a seat at the table for you🧡

One year later, and we’re still thinking about it 🤩

From packed cuppings and unforgettable coffees, to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones - last year’s Specialty Coffee Expo was something special.

Now, as the event evolves into the Johannesburg Coffee Festival, we’re excited to announce that the African School of Coffee will officially be back for 2026 ✨

Expect more cuppings, more incredible coffee, and something brand new that we can’t wait to share with you! ☕️

Catch us at the Fourways Mall Rooftop from 29–31 May for a weekend where specialty coffee meets the energy of Jo’burg.
