🌈 Learning Through Play With Teacher Nadia 🌟

Today my little stars had so much fun learning through hands-on activities! 💛 They explored colours by matching blocks to the correct colour cards, practised counting by placing the correct number of blocks on each number, used Play-Doh to form letters of the alphabet, matched different shapes, and enjoyed a fun fishing activity that helped develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.

Every activity is carefully planned to make learning exciting while helping my children grow in confidence, creativity, and essential early childhood skills.

Behind the scenes at Little Shining Stars Daycare ❤️
This is one of the many jobs I do that most people never get to see.
Twice a week, I scrub all of our daycare mats by hand to make sure they're fresh and clean for our little ones. Normally I wash them outside on weekends, but with the cold weather today and rain weather tomorrow , the mTs wont dry so I'm doing a indoor scrub with the fan running overnight .
People often think that because I'm the principal, I sit behind a desk all day. The truth is, I wear many hats. I'm the principal , but I'm also a Teacher ,the cleaner, organiser, planner, problem solver, and whatever else my daycare needs me to be.
A clean environment is so important to me because our children deserve the very best. Every mat I scrub, every classroom I clean, and every late night is done with love.
This is just a small glimpse into what happens behind the scenes. There are so many more things that go into running a daycare, and I wouldn't have it any other way. ❤️
