Kick, kick, kick... and repeat! ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Those little kicks are doing a lot more than making splashes. They're building strong legs and improving body position.

Like any new skill, it takes practice, but every lesson brings stronger kicks, better technique, and more confident swimmers.

Swimming is like building a house.

Without a strong foundation, the next skill becomes harder.

That's why we master floating before strokes, streamline before speed, and technique before distance.

Every stroke is made up of small details working together. Body position, breathing, timing and coordination all play an important role in helping swimmers move smoothly and efficiently through the water.

At TugBoats, we teach these fundamentals from the start, giving every swimmer the skills they need to build strong, confident strokes that will benefit them for years to come. ๐Ÿ’™

Every splash has a purpose.

What looks like simple play is actually an important part of learning. As children explore the water through games and guided activities, they develop confidence, body awareness, coordination and a positive relationship with the water.

Strong swimmers are built on strong foundations. ๐ŸŒŠ

Learning the correct technique from the very beginning allows children to move through the water more efficiently, with better control and greater confidence.

Rather than rushing through skills, we focus on building the fundamentals properly. Whether your child swims for fun or one day decides to compete, good technique gives them the best possible foundation for future success.

Every great swimmer starts somewhere. ๐Ÿ’™

Sometimes, all it takes is seeing someone else do it first, hearing a few encouraging words, and finding the confidence to give it a go.

At TugBoats, our instructors don't just teach swimming skills, they build trust and celebrate every milestone along the way. Because confidence grows when children feel supported, one dive at a time.

Success in swimming isn't built on complicated techniques, it's built on mastering the fundamentals.

One of the most important foundations is a strong streamline position. Whether swimming on the front or back, a good streamline helps swimmers move through the water with less resistance, better control, and greater efficiency.
That's why we spend time developing these core skills. Before fast swimming comes good technique, and before good technique comes strong fundamentals.

A first float.

A first jump.

A first time putting their face in the water.

These moments might seem small, but to a child they're huge. ๐Ÿ’™

Every little achievement builds confidence, resilience and a willingness to keep trying. And that's exactly what learning to swim is all about.

A streamline position is all about efficiency, speed, and confidence in the water.

By keeping the body long, straight, and aligned, swimmers can move through the water with less resistance and more control. The less energy spent fighting the water, the more energy can be used for swimming effectively.

A strong streamline is one of the foundational skills of swimming, helping children develop better technique and a deeper understanding of how to work with the water, not against it.
