We received a lovely Thank You certificate from St.Joseph's Special School to show their appreciation for our continued support. We sold Casual Day stickers on their behalf as well as collected Easter egss for them. Accepting the certificate is Azraa Mohamed who is an integral part of our Early Act charity group. Thanks to all our parents who generously support our collections.

On a more serious note. On Thursday I received this FAS knot at the SID Principals Meeting. It symbolizes a community working together to help eliminate Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The broken ends refer to the damage caused to the nervous system. On Friday a learner came to school with her Smirnoff "Juice Bottle" At first I could only smile, and yes some staff had a good laugh.

Our Mandela Day outreach to House Martina Old Age Home where our Senior Choir sang to the residents and presented everyone with muffins. Our School Leavers handed out soup to patients at Bishop Lavis Day Hospital. A blessed day indeed🙏

We celebrated World Book Day📚 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The classes re-enacted a story or a nursery rhyme. The teachers and learners did a great job 👏🏼👏🏼

We also played some games. I spy🕵️‍♀️;egg in spoon 🥚🥄and bunny hops 🐇🐇🐇

🥚🐰🐣Easter egg hunt. Again we want to thank all our donors for making this day possible. Our learners and teachers enjoyed it tremendously. 🎉❤️
