Last week Friday we gathered for our Sports Day — a beautiful morning of movement, laughter, and connection.

It was heartwarming to see our community come together, supporting each child with such joy and spirit.

Farewell to Teacher Dakshaini

On Saturday we gathered to celebrate and honour our dear Dakshaini. Our hearts were full of both gratitude and sadness, as we said our fond farewells to our beloved Teacher Dakshaini as she was stepping away from the kindergarten to care for her health.

For 11 years, Teacher Dakshaini has devoted herself completely to our kindergarten and to the entire school. She has been more than an assistant teacher — she has been a friend to all, and a steady, loving presence to every child and colleague who walked through our gate.

Teacher Dakshaini gave not just her time, but herself. She held the festivals, the seasons, the joyful days and the difficult ones with the same gentle strength. The kindergarten carries her imprint — in the songs the children still sing, in the care of the space, in the love that lingers.

While we will miss her deeply, we send her with our wholehearted support as she turns that same care toward her own health and healing. She deserves rest, gentleness, and time to be held, just as she has held so many of us.

Dakshaini, thank you. For 11 years of showing up with your whole heart. For every early morning and late evening. For every hug. For loving our children as your own. You are woven into the story of this school forever.

You will always be family here. Our gate and our arms remain open to you.
